Thank You- A seemingly simple expression that we were taught as children. But do we know the power that lies in those simple words?
It has been said that when we concentrate on being thankful for what we have, then the more we gain. On the contrary, if we pay too much attention on what we do not have, then we will always feel like do not have enough.
Research has increasingly shown the benefits of being thankful, some of which include:

Gratitude journals. Do They Work?
Keeping a gratitude diary is as simple as aiming for a particular number of things you are grateful for each day then writing them down without fail E.g. 3-5 things you’re thankful for every day. The sooner you realise how transformative this practice is, the sooner you’ll want to start!
Tips for Keeping a Gratitude journal
Keep it simple as you begin
You may start on a focus area you are finding more difficult
Decide how often you want to do it- weekly, two days a week, daily? Then commit to it
Get personal- What did the experiences make you feel? Focus on those
